Spring Fling Linky Party Recap
Thank you so much to those of you who entered your beautiful, colorful, happy Spring ideas into our Spring fling linky party last week! We had a really great time going over them, and wanted to share a few makeovers, recipes and ideas that really popped out!
This VERY budget friendly office makeover by Ronda at The Batchelors Way will have your jaw dropping. You’ll never believe how a few of these pieces actually started out!
These three lovely projects are each classy and creative. Christina over at Christina’s Adventures decorated this colorful spring mantel with classic spring flowers, and take a look at that gray tufted sofa over at Tidy Mom’s! At My Fabuless Life, Jenn’s spring fever extended into her kitchen and it looks fabulous!
Here’s a great spring display by K at Shift Ctrl Art. Combining a beautiful eye for decorating as well as some splashes of spring colors, coupled with a few great DIY tutorials makes this the perfect post.
This one goes out to Mallory at Classy Clutter. These decadent lemon cookies are a great way to sweeten up any treat table, and she did such a cute job photographing them too!
๐
This cheesy artichoke dip over at the Northern Cottage looks delish, and speaking of appetizers, Gabby at Essentially Eclectic has a great recipe for Parmesan zucchini crisps. They’re quick, easy and a perfect healthy treat for any get together; the same goes for Heather’s zucchini chip recipe from Our Life in a Click.
For those of you who still aren’t familiar with Smashbooking, you’ve got to hop on over and check out this idea from The Moon and Back. The idea to combine smashbooking and birthday party is perfect! I’ve been wanting to do this with my girls for a long time, so it gave me some great ideas.

Succulent plants are a fun way to dress up a small space and they’re almost impossible to kill. In this quick and easy DIY tutorial, Liz Marie shows how to stage them in an interesting way. Another great idea that was perfect and a simple DIY for Easter, was this bunny silhouette from Chris at Just a Girl . I typically don’t decorate with the literal animal or characters from specific holidays, but this is definitely something I would include in an Easter set up. It’s fun, yet classy at the same time.
By now, you all know that I love springtime, but sometimes it’s a little tricky to figure out just how to effectively and uniquely incorporate Spring into your decor, for the limited amount of time that it’s here. Fortunately, these flower savvy ladies have a thing or two to share, starting with the above, aged terracotta pot arrangement by Tricia @ Simplicity in the South.
This combination of blue mason jars and pink carnations from The Turquoise Home is right up my alley. I love how full and fluffy carnations are when they bloom, and this DIY wood planter box from Chessa at Antsi-Pants is a great way to recycle old wood pallets.
I especially love this arrangement by Jo-Anna at A Pretty Life. There’s something so elegant about it. The colors are vibrant and the arranging of the actual flowers and grass is perfect.
Last, but certainly not least… wreaths. I love ’em!
This creative, multicolored paper wreath by Talitha at Love, Pomegranate House just jumped right out at me, and the process couldn’t be simpler. If you’re wanting a more classic greenery-type look with plenty of texture, then these two wreaths are for you. Bourne Southern blogger Megan, posted this leafy wreath that she whipped up for only $6, and then there’s this awesome burlap and moss wreath by Michele at The Scrap Shoppe .
I hope you have fun visiting these talented ladies over on their blogs this weekend, and thanks again for linking up everyone! It was so fun clicking through all of the projects one by one to see what everyone had to offer.

Spring is THE TIME to let nature walk into your home. The outpour of creativity at your Spring Fling Linky Party seems amazing and most of the ideas are simply fabulous. Flowers are really an easy way to refresh your home dรฉcor.
I love the arrangement of flowers and grass by Jo-Anna at A Pretty Life. The burst of green grass and vibrant blooms creates such a charming medley. The terra cotta pot arrangement, the blue mason jars, the succulent plants and the DIY wood planter box are quick fixes to transform any dull nook. I would love one of these to pep up my window space. Wreaths are also an impressive way to add the green touch.
